Wychwood Gardens
Chemical free flower farming
What we do
At Wychwood Gardens, we grow our flowers without the use of chemicals and with least disturbance to the soil encouraging pollinators and biodiversity. We are now focused on bringing you summer flowers including our lovely sweet peas having had a successful tulip and allium season.

About us
We are Christine and Madeleine and have been working together for over six years using our experience in horticulture and landscaping to deliver sustainable 'green' projects for the benefit of our local community. Our passion for the environment has helped to create a forest garden, a climate change bed and a Miyawaki forest.
Flower Dye Workshop
£40
17th August 2024
Join us for a practical, informal and fun afternoon at the flower farm collecting petals and leaves which we will use to naturally dye fabric.
We will begin with a wander around the farm pointing out the best plants to use for dyeing and collectively we can choose which plants we wish to use for our dye baths.
We will provide organic cotton for you to dye and you can try your hand at the Japanese technique of Shibori and flower stamping. You are also welcome to bring any small white garment of your own that you would like to dye. Plant dyeing always works better on natural fabrics like silk, linen or cotton.
Refreshments and snacks will be provided. We will be working outdoors although there is shelter if it rains. The ground is uneven and muddy at times so appropriate outdoor wear is required.
Current Availability
Our summer flowers and this season's dried flowers are available now.
Our hand picked rose and sweet pea petals are now available as confetti / table decoration.
We make our own wreaths from local willow and twisted willow is also available in various sizes.
