Flower Stamping 12th July 2025 10:30am

Join us for a practical, informal and fun morning at the flower farm collecting flowers and foliage which we will use to transfer to fabric by stamping. We will begin with a wander around the farm pointing out the best flowers and leaves that readily give up their dye for this process. This will be followed by a demonstration on the technique we use and show you how you can combine plant material to create unique patterns. Once you have had a practice you are then free to collect your own flowers to create your own design on one of our organic cotton bags or cushion covers. Refreshments including homemade cake will be provided. We will be working outdoors although there is shelter if it rains. The ground is uneven and muddy at times so appropriate outdoor wear is required. We are working towards being fully accessible but at the moment we cannot accommodate people who use wheelchairs or children in buggies. Our toilet facilities are basic but private camping style. This workshop lasts 2 hours.
